Dr Yeates has played a central role in world-pioneering services, developing innovations in community neuro-rehabilitation, neuropsychotherapy, family and couples work with people with neurological conditions, vocational rehabilitation, social cognition rehabilitation and mind-body interventions.
He enjoys sharing these ideas via multi-media teaching (didactic lectures, video case examples and experiential exercises/role-play) that can be short lectures, half-day, whole day or two day-workshops in length. Dr Yeates has delivered this teaching around the world, including:
Mind-Body Retreats:
Dr Yeates and his colleague Dr Priyanka Mullen (together as The Breathing Brain Movement) run experiential 2-day residential mind-body retreats for brain injury professionals. These are focused on the use of Eastern mind-body practices in neuro-rehabilitation and are based on experiential learning and participation within these practices. These retreats run each Autumn in a beautiful location in rural Oxfordshire, more information can be found here.
